Meet the New Team at Bravo’s Pizza
Perkasie area residents are invited to stop by Bravo’s Pizza on Saturday, August 3 to meet the new owner and management team that recently took over at one of the borough’s oldest continuing family restaurants.
After a ribbon cutting at 10:30 am, visitors will receive free slices and can order from a half-price menu all day. Youngsters can also have their faces painted for free between 11 am and 1 pm.
Owner Anthony Alarcon and manager Kim Smith took over on July 1 from Charlie Croce, who operated Bravo’s for 30 years before retiring.
“Charlie developed a very loyal following over the years,” said Smith. “We plan to continue to serve the community with quality food in a family-friendly atmosphere.”
While Bravo’s signature extra large (18-inch) pizza will remain on the menu, Alarcon and Smith have added several gourmet pizzas and chicken entrees and tripled the number of salad offerings. They also plan to add online ordering, home delivery and expanded hours (open until 10 p.m.). A loyalty card — buy nine pizzas, get the tenth free — is also in the works.
Smith said Bravo’s intends to be involved in community events such as the Perkasie Fall Festival (October 6) and the Oldest Community Tree Lighting (December 7). Local non-profit organizations will also be encouraged to hold fundraisers there.
“We are excited to be part of the Perkasie community,” said Smith. “There are so many positive things going on and we want to do our part to help.”
