COVID-19 pandemic-perkasie

We recently sent out a survey to our member businesses to find out how the the COVID-19 pandemic. Here are the results:

Black Cat Collective (tattoos and piercings): shop is closed; all 11 workers are independent contractors.

Boing Gymnastics: closed; revenue down 80 percent.

Community Business Network (advertising-supported printed materials for schools, municipalities, and realtors): 9 employees are working remotely; revenue is down 50 percent.

Dragonflies Salon and Spa: closed; all 8 employees laid off.

Free Will Brewing Co.: open for curbside pickup and online orders; 41 of 44 employees laid off; revenue down 75 percent.

FROX (women’s clothing boutique): online shopping only; all 8 employees laid off; revenue down 90 percent.

Labelcraft (printer): 2 employees continue to work (practicing social distancing); revenue down 30 percent.

Papa’s Cupcakes: shop closed; all seven employees laid off.

Ragtops and Roadsters (British car restoration): shop closed; 22 employees laid off.

Rise & Grind Cafe: open for takeout only; 15 of 16 employees laid off; revenue down 85 percent.

Shine Yoga Center: 4 employees continue to work, offering classes online; revenue is steady.

The Hickory Stick (frozen treats): open for takeout only; 9 of 11 employees laid off; revenue down 90 percent.

The Up Agency (advertising/marketing agency): 3 employees continue to work remotely; revenue unaffected (for now).

Vicki Lilley – Thrivent Financial: 2 employees continue to work, offering consultations online (via Zoom) or by phone.
